“What a great time! King Of The Tramps are nice guys who play great foot stompin’ hand clapping music!”
 - Heather Allshouse, Swing Station, Fort Collins, CO.

“King of Tramps can come back to Coda anytime! Not only do they rock but they have a professional attitude, and friendly laid back vibe. They put on a great show!!”

- Clint Hoffmeier Co-owner Coda Bar and Grill, Kansas City, MO

"My husband and I own and operate an intimate listening room in Clive, IA...The GrapeVine. We had the pleasure of featuring King of The Tramps, “unplugged” at our venue. We, and our packed house, LOVED the members of the band and the fantastic show they performed that evening! All of the band members were very friendly, professional, on-time, engaged the audience and made new fans. We can't wait to feature them again!"
- Bonita Crowe, The Grapevine, LLC., Clive, IA

These tramps are true professionals and all around nice guys! They rocked our Awesome Biker Nights stage this summer. Their brand of Iowa Roots Rock is full of deep cuts and grooves and fit perfectly as support for The Marshall Tucker Band.

- Troy Sonichsen, Awesome Biker Nights Entertainment Coordinator, Sioux City, IA

“Wicked Mountain is a collection of well-written, energetic Southren country, roots rock songs with a lot of potential and deserve the attention of all rock lovers! “
- Eric Schuurmans, RootsTime Music, Netherlands

“King of the Tramps throws so much at you over the course of “Wicked Mountain” that it’s impossible to not find something to love. The Tramps are a bunch of supremely talented musicians, and “Wicked Mountain” is littered with influences pulled from all over the map. The title track is a heavy, Allman-esque number that anchors the album’s B-side, while opening track “Car Song” is infused with the ghost of the Black Crowes and a helping of southern-fried rock. But most of the album — especially high points like “Jesus Saves” — is pure King of the Tramps.”
- Chad Taylor, Des Moines City View

Wicked Mountain, The centerpiece/title song, with it’s chain-gang theme (and clanking chain beat) is nearly perfect with simple, painfully evocative lyrics (“Climbin to the top of Wicked Mountain, locks and chains on my feet”) marching beats and a scorching southern-rock coda. This song should still be sung in a hundred years by people with no idea where it came from.
- Kent Williams, Little Village Magazine, Iowa City, IA

On a scale of one to ten the Joyful Noise album is a solid ten. These five talented musicians not only know the roots of rock and roll, they enrich them every time they get together and play and believe me THAT is a joyful experience to be sure.
- Cveckian, The Bigfoot Diaries

"Joyful Noise" is the third album from this American band. The new album picks up where "Wicked Mountain" (2013) ends. The album is a balanced mix of bluesy rockers, heartfelt ballads and inviting sing-a-longs. The nine songs are very varied. Stories about trains, washed up singers, tragic situations, travel and barroom ballads.”

- Eric Schuurmans, RootsTime music, Belgium

The four-piece band KING OF THE TRAMPS from Iowa creates a sound, which the critics call "whiskey gospel" and blends the listener in a modern take on mid-seventies rock with a mixture of blues, roots and country rock. Sing-a-longs and ballads from the heart invite you to sing along and join in with each other and inspire both on big festival stages as well as in intimate living room atmosphere. In addition to light food, such as songs about love or walking, they often deal with more serious issues such as climate change, the role of money and politics in the war or the death of an unarmed youth by a policeman. King of the Tramps has released four previously released albums: "Good People" (2011), "Wicked Mountain" (2013), "Joyful Noise" (2014) and "Cumplir con el Diablo" (2016).  They are currently working on their 5th album with an expected release date of May 2018.

Im Gepäck haben King of the Tramps vier bisher veröffentlichte Alben: “Good People” (2011) “Wicked Mountain” (2013), “Joyful Noise” (2014) and “Cumplir con el diablo”. Aktuell arbeiten sie an ihrem fünften Album, dessen Veröffentlichung im Mai 2018 geplant ist.
